The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce is a voice for business. Begun in 1957, the Chamber acts as an active advocate for business in the Greater Severna Park area. As a proactive business organization, the Chamber seeks to build a healthy business climate, increase the quality of life for all residents and provide members.

 BUSINESS BEAUTIFICATION AWARDS ANNOUNCED!
The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce recognized three businesses at its October 1st General Membership Luncheon.
Held at Chartwell Country Club, the luncheon was attended by 90 people, and Maryland Senator Edward Reilly was guest speaker.
Bay Area Goodyear, represented by Tim Nester, was recognized for its attractive new facade.  Quayle & Co. Design/Build, represented by owners Hal and Mary Quayle, and The Big Bean, represented by owner Deb Hoffman, were recognized.  Together, they designed and implemented a flagstone patio along the B&A Trail behind The Big Bean, where people can relax.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY FOR THE GREATER SEVERNA PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Chamber's weather policy follows that of Anne Arundel County schools.  If school opening is
delayed by two hours, all Chamber activities prior to noon are cancelled.  If schools dismiss early, all
afternoon and evening activities are cancelled.  If school is cancelled, all Chamber activities
are cancelled, and the Chamber office may (or may not) be closed.
  When in doubt, err on the
side of safety!  If you would like to inquire about the status of County Schools,
visit www.AACPS.org.
